The Text 4 Biz  SMS API allows you to send and receive SMS messages, manage contact lists, schedule recurring texts, process bulk SMS messages, create templates, and query information about incoming and outgoing messages.

To begin using the Text 4 Biz SMS Gateway API, follow these steps:

Step 1: Get your credentials for the SMS API. The API credentials (X-TM-Key) and the login credentials (X-TM-Username) are not the same.

Note: Text 4 Biz offers the V1 and V2 SMS APIs. You will need to generate a new key for the V2 endpoint if your existing V1 key is incompatible with the Text 4 Biz  REST API.

Step 2: Establish a connection to the https://rest.textmagic.com/api/v2 API endpoint.

Step #3: Before you begin writing your code, take a look at the Text 4 Biz Sandbox.

A web-based application can be accessed through a set of programming guidelines, conventions, and instructions known as an application-programming interface (API). Typically, SMS APIs are made available to the public so that programmers can use them to power their applications.

Although there is only one interface visible to the end user, numerous APIs are collaborating and integrating with SMS solutions in the background to deliver a flawless experience.

By establishing a channel of communication between your service and the SMS gateway, the Textmagic SMS API enables you to send and receive text messages, monitor reports, and verify delivery statuses all from the interface of your application. There are two ways to use our SMS API:

All of the features of our messaging gateway are accessible through the REST API.
Two-way SMS communication can be accomplished with the Email to SMS API. There is no need for extra coding.

Naturally, of course! With the assistance of our team’s thorough SMS API documentation, you can use our infrastructure to create your own messaging application. Sending, receiving, and scheduling text messages, converting emails to SMS, distribution lists, custom fields, accounts and sub-accounts, statistics, encoding, and other topics are all covered in our documentation.

A collection of client libraries for the most popular programming languages has also been developed by our development team. In just a few minutes, they will enable you to incorporate our SMS API into your source code.

It is necessary to create your API credentials and establish a connection to the API endpoint before you can use the Text 4 Biz REST API. Making an API key is one way to accomplish this. Go to the API settings after logging into your Text 4 Biz account. To generate your API credentials, click the “Add new API key” button and note the API label. Above the table, a green notification banner displaying the API key ought to now be visible.
